PropertyVue (“we,” “our,” or “us”) operates the website at getpropertyvue.com and provides a multi-property Ring camera dashboard service (the “Service”). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our Service.

2. Information We Collect

We collect the following types of information:

• Account Information: Email address and authentication credentials when you create an account via Supabase Auth.
• Ring Account Data: When you connect your Ring account via OAuth, we receive and store OAuth tokens (access and refresh tokens). We do not store your Ring password.
• Device Information: Ring device identifiers, device names, device types, and online status retrieved from the Ring Appstore API.
• Event Data: Motion events, doorbell presses, and related metadata (event type, timestamps, thumbnail URLs) delivered via Ring webhooks.
• User-Created Content: Property names, addresses, alert policies, incident notes, and tags that you create within the Service.

3. How We Use Your Information

• To provide, maintain, and improve the Service
• To display your Ring device events in a unified dashboard
• To evaluate alert policies and send notifications you have configured
• To generate incident reports you request
• To refresh your Ring OAuth tokens to maintain your connection
• To respond to your support requests

4. Data Sharing and Disclosure

We do not sell your personal information. We may share information only in the following circumstances:

• Service Providers: We use Supabase for database hosting and authentication, and Vercel for application hosting. These providers process data on our behalf.
• Ring Appstore API: We exchange data with Ring's API to retrieve your devices and receive event webhooks, as authorized by you through OAuth.
• Legal Requirements: We may disclose information if required by law, regulation, or legal process.

5. Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored in Supabase with Row-Level Security (RLS) policies ensuring you can only access your own data. OAuth tokens are stored encrypted at rest. We use HTTPS for all data transmission. Webhook payloads are verified using HMAC-SHA256 signatures to prevent tampering.

6. Data Retention

We retain your event data according to your subscription tier (7 days for Free, 90 days for Pro). You can disconnect your Ring account at any time, which will delete your stored OAuth tokens. You may request complete account deletion by contacting us.

7. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you
• Request correction of inaccurate data
• Request deletion of your account and associated data
• Disconnect your Ring account at any time via Settings
• Export your incident data via the Service

8. Third-Party Services

The Service integrates with Ring (Amazon) via the Ring Appstore API. Your use of Ring products is governed by Ring's own privacy policy. We encourage you to review Ring's privacy practices. PropertyVue is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Ring or Amazon.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any material changes by posting the new policy on this page and updating the “Last updated” date. Your continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
